This is an opportunity to join us in making a significant difference to the students at St Wilfrid’s.

The post holder is expected to support the effective delivery of the Curriculum administration team function to enhance teaching and learning through effective analysis, manipulation, monitoring and utilisation of information and data; with a particular focus on the planning and administration of public and internal examinations.

All staff working in the Curriculum Support Team are required to work flexibly to provide cover for the priority work of absent colleagues or vacancies.

There are currently 1,534 students in attendance. The school opened in 1963 and has a proud history. We were judged as Good by Ofsted in June 2016; we were also judged as Good by the Diocesan Section 48 Inspection in April 2017.

We are proudly part of the Bishop Konstant Catholic Academy Trust which comprises of three Secondary Schools and twelve Primary Schools.

16.25 hours per week on a full time permanent contract

3.15pm-6.30pm daily

Under the direction/instruction of the Site Manager or Site Assistant, provide a clean, hygienic and welcoming school environment which meets specified cleaning standards.

    • Take responsibility for ensuring that a specific area of the school is clean, cleaning all surfaces, fixtures and fittings
    • Clean floors, walls, partitions and internal woodwork as appropriate
    • Clean toilets, changing rooms and other sanitary areas
    • Clean equipment after use
  • Undertake special cleaning programmes during school closure or other designated periods in compliance with the specification for the premises
  • Collect and dispose of waste in appropriate manner

The post holder is expected to provide pastoral & behaviour support for all students including those with learning, behavioural, emotional and social difficulties

To support the work of the Inclusion department, working with all school staff including teachers, higher level teaching assistants (HLTA) and learning support assistants to enable students to realise their potential academically and personally. Pastoral colleagues work to support students and families to overcome difficulties in and outside of school and remove barriers to educational success.
