GCSE Results Collection and Sixth Form Enrolment

Year 11 results (GCSE and Level 2 Vocational) are due in school on Thursday 12th August. Students are expected to pick up the results from school on the specified date any time from 08.30am until 11.30am.  Results will be issued within the Sixth Form Study Area.  Please be aware that this is the earliest opportunity for students to find out their results.

Alternatively, students may sign a letter authorising a parent, carer or family member to collect the results on that day on their behalf.  However, we regret that we are unable to issue results to other students or friends.

Any uncollected results will be posted home at the end of the day.  Unfortunately, we cannot issue results over the phone on this day.

Please note that additional precautions will be in place when collecting results. A one-way system will be in place and additional signage will help to navigate this system.

Final Sixth Form Enrolment

Final enrolment will take place immediately after receipt of results. If students have told us that they wish to stay in Sixth Form, a pre-prepared enrolment card will be given to them when they collect their results.  If they have met the entry criteria for subjects, and there are no changes, it will simply be a case of signing this form and handing it to our administration team.  An email confirming the place in the Sixth Form will be received during the morning. If students wish to make changes to their subject choices, they will need to speak to a member of staff and we will amend this on their enrolment card.  We will also use enrolment information to issue student laptops for the first day of the new academic year.

If students are not in receipt of a conditional offer, we are happy to discuss the possibility of a place with them and enrol them on the day.

Should anyone miss the enrolment on this day, we will contact them by telephone or email, if they have expressed an interest in the Sixth Form.  It is still possible to enrol online, using the online application or by emailing  Sixthform@st-wilfrids.bkcat.co.uk

A Level and Level 3 Vocational Results Collection and UCAS Support

Year 13 results (A Level and Level 3 Vocational) are due in school on Tuesday 10th August. Students are expected to pick up the results from school on the specified date any time from 08.30am until 11.30am.  Results will be issued within the Sixth Form Study Area. Please be aware that this is the earliest opportunity for students to find out their results.

Alternatively, they may sign a letter authorising a parent /family member or carer to collect the results on that day on their behalf. However, we regret that we are unable to issue results to other students or friends of your son/daughter. Any uncollected results will be posted home at the end of the day. Unfortunately, we cannot issue results over the phone on this day.

Please note that additional precautions will be in place when collecting results. A one-way system will be in place and additional signage will help to navigate this system.

Following the collection of results, we are also able to support students with your next steps. The majority of students typically already know about their university offers by looking on UCAS Track. We are able to offer further support to discuss your next steps, throughout the morning should you require it.
