The school governors have taken into consideration that many students in Year 6 will have black school trousers that still fit and have not worn out as a result of lockdown and are permitted to wear out these items. Governor’s request that items are replaced with the official school trousers from Trutex or the uniform partners mentioned in the presentation and listed on our uniform page.
Your Form Tutor and Mr Everett will be using TEAMS till the end of term to further help ease any anxiety for the coming year. If you have any questions that have not been answered via the presentation or the video, please use your form TEAMs and we will be able to answer your questions accordingly.
We all look forward to finally meeting you in September so we can start our journey together

Yours sincerely – Mr McCabe
Thank you for your confidence in St Wilfrid’s and entrusting your child with us. We shall endeavour to develop your child’s full potential with your essential help and support. We appreciate that transition from primary school can be an anxious time, even more in these unprecedented times.
By now one of our transition team would have already met with your child. Unfortunately the two transition days in July along with our Parents’ Evening have had to be cancelled due to Government Guidelines.
As part of our new look Transition 2020. We are providing primary schools with sessions relating to different aspects that your child may go through in transition to high school. Don’t worry if you are not currently attending your primary school these sessions with workbooks can all be found at the bottom of this page. In addition to this, we will be providing home learning for your child to complete over the summer holidays.
H.E.A.R.T is the core value running through St Wilfrids. The aim of this home learning is to give you an understanding of what these values mean. This work will then be used during form time at the start of Year 7 to embed these values.
Please keep checking your emails and this page for future updates.
Stay Safe and we will see you all soon
